It's Pool Party Time!
Details
If you've never been to a Meek House Pool Party, you're in for a treat.
Date: Saturday, June 30.
Time: Begins at 1:00 PM and goes until "whenever." We party well into the evening, don't worry about coming late!
Where: Our house in Western Lake Worth.
I send directions THE NIGHT BEFORE via text.
Make sure you send me your full names and phone number or you won't get the text.
Food: Bring a dish to share for lunch and for snacking all day long into the evening. Bring lots. We get hungry from being in the water and in the sun all day. Bring stuff to grill. We'll have the BBQ grill going for anyone who wants to help grill.
Drink: I'll be supplying my infamous tropical rum punch. It is truly famous. Special recipe. It will have you smiling and dancing in no time.
And we'll provide some limited wine, sodas, mixers. Please help us by bringing other stuff to help stock the bar. Beer, other mixers, alcohol...
(If you want to help with the punch, I could ALWAYS use some extra bottles of Cruzan Mango Rum.)
Pool Party Rules:
1.) Plan on getting wet.
If you want to protect your hair or makeup -- this is not the place for you. Yup, everyone gets wet a Meek House Pool Party! If the splashing of the pool doesn't get you, the water guns will.
Count on it.
2.) Ours is a drug-free home.
If that's what you are into, please leave the drugs in your home, do not bring them here.
Also, we are a smoke-free home, no cigarettes, or otherwise.
3.) No kids. Sorry. Adults only.
4.) Relax. Soak in the sun. Jump. Play. Splash. Float. Canon ball. Laugh.
- You'll need to provide a clear photo of yourself in your meetup profile, and then please message me or email me your full names and phone numbers. Safety first on the internet, right? I'll use your phone number to text you the directions the night before the party.
Q: When will the directions be sent?
A: Via text, the evening before the party.
Q: Why didn't I receive directions?
A: Because either you didn't provide a clear photo of yourself in your profile picture and/or you didn't message me with your phone number.
Q: What do I bring?
A: Food for lunch or snacks, maybe something to grill.
Ice is always needed.
Stuff to help stock the bar.
