The mission of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) is to "preserve land and restore habitat for the education and enjoyment of all."
We offer 15 volunteer programs - there is something for everyone to enjoy! Join us to help restore natural areas, maintain nature trails, and more!
The Conservancy preserves and restores natural areas with the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Since its founding in 1988, the Conservancy has successfully preserved almost 1,700 acres of open space on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Assist with Student Nature Field Trips
White Point Nature Education Center and Preserve, 1600 W Paseo Del Mar, San Pedro, CA, USJoin us for a fun and engaging training session to prepare for assisting with 3rd grade nature field trips. You'll help children connect with wildlife, plants, and the wonder of the outdoors. No experience necessary only enthusiasm for nature and helping children learn! Registration required. Ages 18+
