Southbay Philosophy Meetup

This is a new group that will meet bi-weekly to discuss "philosophical" topics. Those who join can help develop this meet-up into whatever meets members interest. This can range from more global, "big picture" questions that anyone can participate in, such as: "Why is cursing rude?", "Can AI ever think like a human? Does it matter? Would we be able to tell?" , "Is pornography immoral?". However, this group can also venture into more academic/ "formal" philosophy through reading text and discussing more complex concepts within metaphysics, epistemology, ethics etc from various authors. This group has the potential to be academic, informal or both! Just depends on who joins!
