Managing Personal Identifiable Information (PII) in a Post-GDPR Era

Details
In our last meetup, we heard from legal experts on what is required by GDPR when data transfer occurs across borders. An interesting question arose during the Q&A session that highlighted the importance of keeping Personal Identifiable Information (PII) subject to these regulations out of Machine learning models.
Join us for this meetup as we host Peeyush Rai, to discuss how he navigated the heavily regulated healthcare space while building a healthcare data platform, Ciitizen. He'll cover best practices when dealing with PII in ML training models and answer any questions the builder community has regarding the topic. Come prepared with questions and an appetite to learn and network.
Peeyush Rai is a seasoned technology leader and entrepreneur. He is the Founder/CEO of Weav AI, a company that is on a mission to democratize AI by enabling non-technical users to build ML-powered applications. Peeyush has extensive expertise in data and AI-related technologies and solutions. Prior to Weav AI, Peeyush co-founded Ciitizen, a patient-centric healthcare data platform that was acquired by Invitae in 2021.
We'll have food, drinks, and swag for those who attend in person. For anyone who cannot attend in person, we will have a live Zoom. Sign up now to secure your spot!
