We meet once a month, in person, over coffee, to talk about the book and what it stirred up.
No pressure to finish the book before showing up. Come as you are, even if you only got halfway.

About the book:
Children of Men is a dystopian novel by P. D. James, published in 1992. It is set in a future England where human beings have become infertile and no children have been born for 25 years. The novel explores themes of power, political control, hope, morality, and the value of human life. As society faces the possibility of extinction, the story follows a small group of people who challenge the ruling government.About the author:
P. D. James (1920–2014) was a British author best known for her detective fiction. She created the famous detective character Adam Dalgliesh, who appears in many of her novels. James was also known for her detailed writing, complex characters, and exploration of moraland social issues. Children of Men was one of her few novels outside the detective genre and is considered an important work of dystopian fiction4 attendees
