Abstract
This talk describes research in AI assisted software development, and the vision of bots who help software engineers with for all sorts of tasks. In particular, they are doing automated bug fixing. It's a talk based on recent software engineering research, with a pinch of AI, and also some wider speculations about bots. The talk is based on a series of papers from different research groups.
The Speaker
Martin Monperrus is Professor of Software Technology at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. His current research contributes to answering to two fundamental questions: How to automatically repair software? How to automatically harden software? Martin's research is founded on open-science and open-innovation.
