Ryan Kennedy (https://twitter.com/rckenned) from Yammer Engineering will be kicking off our group by presenting the Dapper, a Large-Scale Distributed Systems Tracing Infrastructure (http://research.google.com/pubs/pub36356.html) paper by Benjamin H. Sigelman, Luiz André Barroso, Mike Burrows, Pat Stephenson, Manoj Plakal, Donald Beaver, Saul Jaspan and Chandan Shanbhag.

Doors open at 6:30 pm; the presentation will begin at 7:00 pm; and, yes, there will be beer and pizza.

After Ryan presents the paper, we will open up the floor to discussion and questions.
