Hey Everyone
Wellll....My first attempt to post this Event was a bit of a misfire since I dropped in on like the 3rd class in the series. The series of classes start on the first Wednesday of the month. Then new classes build on and reenforce the earlier classes. So, let's jump into together at the right time.
Let's meetup to take Westcoast Swing Dance Lessons at DanceLife in Bonita Springs on Wednesday nights for $20/pp.
The one instructor Robert Cordoba is a world class dancer with a zillon competition dance titles and instructor awards?
Unlike Ballroom Dancing, Westcoast Swing can be easily danced at most Naple pubs and bars.
Let's meet at 6:15 PM for a quick Meet & Greet, then Beginner lessons are from 6:30pm followed by Intermediate lessons at 7:00pm and topped off with a Social Dance from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM. It's BYOB in case you're like me and need a little "Liquid-Courage" to help with your dance moves... :) Drinks and snacks are provided.
There were like 8 people for the intro classes, then about 30 skilled dancers rolled in for the social dance where everyone was changing dance partners. So, we can hang out an practice with each other what we just learned.
LADIES!!! I need your HELP!!! Since more women than men seem to attend these Meetups, make sure to encourage some guys to attend... :)
Hey Guys...My best dance advice is 2 parts. Part 1: Get over your shyness on the dance floor like I did. Once you do, you'll have a LOT MORE FUN.... :) Part 2: Re-watch Forest Gump, where the young Forest is showing Elvis some dances moves as I stole a few of them myself...That might explain a lot...LOL... :)
