What we’re about
They say that kids don't come with handbooks...especially teens and tweens! This group is for parents (biological, step, foster, adoptive) and supporters of teens and tweens. Foremost, we will be using our Facebook group by the same name as a forum for parents to ask questions of other members. (So if you join us here on Meetup, we'll invite you to our Facebook group, too!) Secondarily, we will be planning educational events (both in-person and online) from experts who can give us insight on how best to support the teens and tweens in our lives.
This group will remain focused on positive, productive contributions to others. Negative commentary will be deleted and contributing author will be removed from the group without warning.
Last note: Vegas rules apply in this group. As we'll likely be discussing some sensitive topics, members of the group agree that what's discussed here stays here.
