About us

A space for parents who care about how they spend their time to connect, talk, and support each other through real life.

If you’re a parent, you already know…
Life is fast.

Between work, family, responsibilities, and everything in between, it can feel like there’s always something pulling at your time and attention, and in the meantime, dreams get put on hold, and our kids grow up before we know it.

This group is simply a place to slow that down for a bit.

What this group is
✅ A casual, welcoming space where parents can:
👉🏼 meet other parents in the area
👉🏼 have real conversations about life, work, business and family
👉🏼 share experiences (the good, the messy, and everything in between)
👉🏼 connect with people who are thinking about how they want their time, work, and life to fit together

No pressure.
No expectations.
No need to have anything “figured out.”

What we do
✅ We keep things simple and relaxed.
👉🏼 Small group conversations
👉🏼 Casual meetups and hangouts
👉🏼 Open discussions around everyday topics
👉🏼 Occasional guest perspectives and shared experiences

✅ Some conversations naturally touch on things like:
👉🏼 work and career paths
👉🏼 business and side projects
👉🏼 time, flexibility, and how people are structuring their lives
👉🏼 what’s working (and what’s not) in this season

Nothing formal.
Just real conversations.

Who this is for
✅ Parents who want:
👉🏼 connection
👉🏼 conversation
👉🏼 and a space where they don’t have to explain everything

✅ Especially if you’ve ever found yourself thinking about:
👉🏼 how your time is spent
👉🏼 what you’re building long-term
👉🏼 or how to create more flexibility in your life

If you’ve been wanting to meet other parents who get it…
you’re in the right place.

Looking forward to meeting you,

Nia Champaneria
Organizer

Have your family and your freedom too.💛✨

    Be honest.

How much of today did you spend looking at a screen? And how much of it did your kid spend looking at one?

Maybe it's just background noise at this point, the TV on during dinner, the tablet that buys you fifteen minutes of peace. Maybe you've got real rules and you're still watching them slip. Or maybe you're the one who needs to put the phone down first, and you know it.

    Either way, here we are.

This month's Coffee & Real Talk is called:
    Screens, Phones & Balance

Let's hit pause for an hour and talk about this honestly, both sides of it. Our own relationship with our phones, and what we're doing (or not doing) about our kids and theirs.

    We'll talk about things like:
✔️ what your own screen time actually looks like (no shame, just honesty)
✔️ the screen rules you've set for your kids, and whether they're actually working
✔️ the moments you catch yourself being a "do as I say, not as I do" parent
✔️ what balance even looks like when work, connection, and entertainment all live on the same device
✔️ what you actually want screens to look like in your house, for you and for them

This isn't about deleting apps or banning tablets. It's not a productivity hack session, and it's not a "screens are ruining childhood" lecture either.

It's a chance to slow down, get honest, and hear how other parents are actually navigating this, for themselves and their kids, before another season goes by half-watched from behind a screen.

No pressure to share. You can jump into the conversation or simply listen with your coffee in hand.

What to expect (since we're online):
👉🏼 Small group, not a giant awkward webinar
👉🏼 Cameras optional (no pressure, no judgment)
    👉🏼 No slides, no presentation
    👉🏼 Just real conversation

I'll guide things so it flows naturally, and we'll see where the conversation takes us.

If you've ever caught yourself scrolling while telling your kid to get off their screen...
    this conversation is for you.

Bring your coffee. We'll keep it to about 45–60 minutes.

    See you there,
    Nia Champaneria – Organizer
