Freeze Your Who-ville Off: ICE! at Gaylord
Details
Kicking off the holidays with the Grinch carved out of a ridiculous amount of ice. Who-ville, Mount Crumpit, ice slides, the whole thing. It takes maybe 30 minutes to walk through, which is about right for toddler attention spans.
THE PLAN: Meet at 11 by the ICE! entrance in the Christmas Village and we'll go into the 11:15 slot together. Message us on Meetup when you get there and we'll flag you down.
LUNCH AFTER: For anyone who wants to stick around, National Harbor has a ton of restaurants. Everyone grabs takeout from wherever, then we regroup. Nice out? We eat outside by the water. Gross out? Gaylord's giant atrium has plenty of room to spread out, and the big tree keeps the kids entertained.
TICKETS: RSVP here is free, tickets come from Gaylord directly. Sunday is $43 per adult, kids 3 and under free (so basically all of ours). Book the 11:15 slot so we're together: gaylordnational.com. Heads up, all sales are final, so double check before you confirm.
GOOD TO KNOW: To preserve the ice, they keep it chilly! So bundle the babies like it's January, they'll provide parkas for the adults. Single strollers are fine, no side-by-sides or wagons. About 20 minutes from DC over the Wilson Bridge, parking in the garage.
Drop a comment when you RSVP so we know who to look for. See you in Who-ville! 🎄
