About us

BODA (bored of dating apps) is landing in Paris and we couldn’t be more excited! We will be coming to Paris in just a few weeks to have the first launch of BODA Paris socials - which are the most wholesome, fun in-person singles nights we’ve ran all over the world. It’s going to be amazing and we can’t wait.

🇫🇷 BODA Paris X Le Marché Branché
We are so excited to be hosting a singles night inside Paris’ most beautiful supermarket.
This June, BODA lands in Paris for a limited pop-up at Le Marché Branché - a curated, design-led grocery space in the heart of the Marais.
Think: softly lit aisles, chic snacks, a glass of something cold in hand and a room full of people who also decided to leave the apps behind and meet IRL.
✨ What this is

An evening for meeting someone the way it was always meant to happen: organically, unexpectedly, and a little bit romantically.
No speed dating, no name tags, no awkward icebreakers. Just music, conversation, and the quiet thrill of not knowing who you might meet.
🥂 The format
You’ll arrive solo (most people do - around 95%), and be welcomed into the space by our hosts.

From there, the evening unfolds naturally:
• wander the aisles
• pick up something you love
• start a conversation over it
• stay as long as it feels good

Our hosts are there to gently guide, introduce, and make sure no one is left hovering by the olives.
💌 The crowd
Thoughtful, curious, open people in their 20s, 30s and 40s, the kind who still believe in meeting someone in real life.
🧠 BODA rules (the good kind)
• No phones (keep them away)
• No ghosting - this is an anti-ghosting community
• Be present, be kind, be human
💭 Why a supermarket?

Because the best conversations don’t happen when you’re trying too hard. They happen mid-reach for a bottle of something. When you both pick up the same thing or when someone makes a slightly unnecessary but charming comment about pineapple.
