Park Ave Contra 4th Tuesdays
Park Avenue Community Center (PAC Center), 129 Park Ave, Swarthmore, PA, US👠WELCOME to our community contra dance!
We always have super live music. Our experienced dancers gladly help new dancers join in. All dances are taught and prompted. Come as you are -- no partner needed, as we change partners for each dance. Contra dancing is aerobic, so wear loose clothing and non-slippery, non-grippy shoes.
We dance every 2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings. Do check the calendar and announcement on our home page before you go -- occasionally the schedule varies: ParkAvenueContra.org

🎻 🪗 🪕 MUSIC: 4th Tuesdays Live music -- usually by Box & String (Sarah Gowan, Bill Quern) with guests
🟢 Admission is sliding scale:
Dancers: $10 - $15+
Cash or Venmo at the door (no cards, sorry)🟡 VENUE: The PAC center is in the Methodist Church at 129 Park Ave, a few minutes walk from the Swarthmore train station and 109 bus.
Street parking--meters are free after 5pm.🔵 Coming directly from work? The Park Ave Center has picnic tables, as well as two rooms with tables, sink, fridge + microwave, available for those who arrive early and have brought their dinner. The coöp and many restaurants are within a few blocks if you want to pick up something.
