Join Parkbus Taiwan for an amazing day out in Dongyanshan National Forest Recreation Area, a stunning natural area just south of Taipei.

There is no public transportation available to the park and is a difficult destination to get to without your own car. Parkbus Taiwan will offer direct, reservable and same-day return bus service from Taipei.

**ITINERARY**
• 8:15AM to 8:30AM - BUS PICKUP: Taipei
• 10:30AM - BUS DROP OFF: Dongyanshan National Forest
• 10:30AM - 4:00PM - Free time to explore trails, visitor centre, cafe, etc
• 4:00PM - BUS DEPARTURE
• 6:00PM - ESTIMATED RETURN to Taipei

**WHO THIS TRIP IS FOR**
• Anyone looking to get outside to hike, forest bath and relax in nature
• Anyone who doesn't have a car
• Families with young children (this place is great for kids!)

**FEES**
NTD$550/adult (14+)
NTD$400/child (4-13)
FREE - Children <4 who sit with parent/guardian (or $400 with own seat)
Note: Fees above do not include $15 Bank Transaction fee

**INCLUDED**
• Reservable ticket
• Return bus service between Taipei and Dongyanshan National Forest

**NOT INCLUDED**
• Admission into Dongyanshan National Forest (between $50-$100)
• Guiding services
• Food or drinks
• Additional stops at stores, attractions, etc.

**WHAT TO EXPECT**
• Transportation-only service with drop-off inside park gates
• At destination, participants can hike together or by themselves
• Tranquil forests with Japanese and Chinese Cedars as well broad-leaved plans like ring-cupped oaks, ferns, etc
• Wildlife including birds & butterflies, several species of frogs & toads, snakes, Formosan Rock Macaques and Red-bellied Tree Squirrels
• Unique fossils of marine life dating back 30 million years
• Visitor Centre with bilingual exhibits on local animal & plant ecology
• Secluded picnic areas throughout
• Small cafeteria at Visitor Centre selling snacks

**TRAILS/HIKES**
• Scenic Trail (<1km) - Beginner & stroller-friendly
• Forestry Trail (~6km return) - Intermediate with modest elevation
• Self-Guided Trail (~4km) - Intermediate with significant elevation to the peak of Dong Yan Mountain
• Dong Mun Hiking Trail (8km one-way) - Advanced with significant elevation, connecting Manyueyuan and Dongyanshan National Forests. (Complete hike not advisable due to time restrictions)

**WHAT TO BRING**
• Water, lunch, snacks, personal items (e.g. bug repellant, camera, money, etc). Come prepared with everything you'll need for the day
• Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots
• Weather-appropriate clothing. Check forecast closer to trip date

**IMPORTANT**
You alone are responsible for your safety in the parks we visit. Many dangers exist, natural and man-made.

You alone are responsible for being at pickup/drop-off areas on time. If you miss the return bus, you may become stranded in an area with no cellphone reception and will be responsible for arranging alternative transportation.

**CANCELLATION POLICY**
• Notify 14 days or more before travel date (Full refund)
• Notify 13 days and up to 2 days before departure (50% refund)
• Tickets cancelled within 48 hours of departure (Non-refundable)
• All refunds will sent through bank transfers. The refund (minus transaction fee) will be provided within 4 business days.

Name changes are free of charge, but requests must be received 48 hours before travel date.
