Annual Holiday Party and Food Drive!

The holidays... a time of joy, charity and hope. Or, more often, long retail lines and stressful family events. You can take a break from all that for a little bit and join your meetup friends (or meet new ones) at our holiday party!

Starting at 6 PM, you can enjoy a buffet of various foods... meatballs, prime ribs, chicken fingers and even some items for those more vegetably inclined... plus lots of great company while listening to a variety of holiday themed songs. Later in the evening we'll switch to the dance tunes and you can strut your stuff (or in my case, hurt oneself) on the dance floor.

In keeping with the season of giving, this event will also be a food drive. Bring canned vegetables, meats, soups and more to donate for those less fortunate. Food items will be passed on to Philabundance. And every food item you bring gives you more chances to win...

Yes, there will be many raffles winner that night... you get one ticket when you arrive and another ticket for each food item you bring... so the more you give the more chances you have to get.

We'll be raffling off Amazon Gift Cards, Twenty9 restaurant gift cards, movie passes and more!

So come on down... enjoy the holidays with people you like to meet up with!

There will be a $10 charge to cover the buffet and prizes.

Menu: Our food selections will include appetizers such as Shrimp Lejon, risotto fritter, prime rib egg rolls, crusted ravioli as well as pepperoni and cheese platters, mixed green salad and a seasonal fruit selections with yogurt dipping sauces. Other selections include chicken tenders with various sauces, meatballs (with rolls), and sausage and peppers (with rolls). Assorted cookies will also be provided for dessert, though some of our members may bring additional desserts.

Raffle Prizes: We are going to be offering a variety of prizes, including an Amazon.com gift card, restaurant gift cards, certificates for free kickboxing and zumba classes and even a free Swedish massage. There also may be some more surprises coming your way. Remember - the more food items you donate the more chances you have to win!
