Dear PASS members and SQL Server Enthusiasts in Bavaria,
our next meetup will be on Thursday, 12/15/2016 7pm at Microsoft in Schwabing (Room New York). This meeting will be in english language.
Unleash the power of your data - R you ready?
Sure, there's a lot you can do with pure SQL. You could implement your whole reporting in it if you wanted. How about nice visuals though, how about smart algorithms, how about the whole world of data science, machine learning and neural networks?
For that, you need a powerful language with powerful libraries, designed to do exactly that stuff. Like R, for example, which as of SQL Server 2016, is available directly in the database!
In this presentation, I'm going to show you how easy it is to use R when you're coming from a SQL background - and once you're at ease with it, how to do visualization, statistical forecasting, and typical machine learning tasks. We'll even build neural networks using the R TensorFlow API!
