This group is for anyone who has a passion for our local history and wants to learn how to research, document, or preserve the stories that make our community unique. We started this circle because we believe that history is best kept alive when we pass our knowledge down, whether you are a long-time resident with a deep archive of personal memories or someone new to the area who is curious about the past.
Our meetings are informal gatherings where experienced local historians and researchers offer guidance to those just starting their projects. You might be looking for help tracking down historical records, learning how to conduct an oral history interview, or simply looking for a group of people who enjoy digging into the details of where we live.
