Oregon Ridge: b/c Walking on a Treadmill is too Predictable (& Farmacy Brewing)
Details
Join us at Oregon Ridge Park for a hike that looks peaceful but quietly reminds you that gravity is undefeated. We’ll enjoy rolling hills (by “rolling,” we mean “relentlessly uphill”), scenic woods, and trails specifically designed to make you rethink every snack decision you’ve made this week.
This is a social hike, meaning we will stop to “admire the view” which is 90% code for “catch our breath.” Expect friendly conversation, dramatic sighs on inclines, and at least one person saying, “Are we almost done?” within the first 15 minutes.
Pace will be reasonable—no trail heroes, no speed walkers training for Everest. If you disappear briefly, we’ll assume you’re tying your shoe or communing with nature.
Bring water, good shoes, and a sense of humor. Dogs welcome, especially if they’re willing to walk ahead and judge us silently.
Come hike Oregon Ridge: where the views are nice, the hills are sneaky, and the post-hike sense of accomplishment is wildly out of proportion to the actual distance. 🌲😏🥾
Join us after the hike to sit around the wood stove at Farmacy Brewery for drinks and food.
