We will be doing Wolf Rock and Chimney Rock Trail, and in the interest of full disclosure this is only my third time doing this hike :) This will be moderate to difficult so bring water and snacks.
The link for the parking location is NOT where we parked, it's a solid 2 miles away.
It should be Catoctin Mountain Park Visitor Park Central Road, Thurmont
After the hike we will be going to one of the best breweries/wineries/distilleries in Maryland to check out some of their famous lavender flavored drinks, wine, beer, as well as live music and good food :) It is also their opening weekend for the season, so should be a great time.
There are bathrooms, but I cant guarantee they will be open. Stop somewhere on your way if you can. Also, cellphone reception is limited. Recommend downloading google maps offline if you’re worried about GPS working.
