Join us for discussions on topics and stories of Doctor Who! This group veers into Wibbly-Wobbly-Timey-Wimey stuff as we discuss this 60 year old fantastic show!
This group regenerated from our prior one of 2+ years. Previously meetings were exclusively on Zoom and online events will remain so - Pacific Coast Time, Monday evenings - but we aim to have more in-person themed meetups in the LA/OC area such as at the Disneyland Resort. In both event types we’ll continue our talks about specific episodes/stories that you’d view prior to the event, general discussion topics such as characters, plots, themes explored in Doctor Who. Or whatever you choose! This will be your group and is open to suggestions (we’ve a list from all members in the past 2+ years with room for more). And with the show’s debut on Disney+, this group would like to be accessible to brand-new viewers too (as well as the few original Whovians, now pensioners). Naturally, we mesh well with our sci-fi, gaming, cosplay, comics/novel, Disney peers. #UNITweTrust
All humans and extraterrestrials/surviving Time Lords may apply! But this is also a safe space (though we had to convince Cmdr. Strax that the word "Club" had multiple meanings). No harassing anyone nor repeat no-shows without canceling lest you get banished into the Void (not joking). Family friendly though attendees under age 18 must have a guardian with them.
