What we’re about

Our group meets on most Thursdays at the Rocky Mountain Miracle Center near DU. Our purpose is to uncover, discover, and discard unwanted samskaras, or mental and emotional imprints - conditioned patterns that shape our thoughts, reactions, and behaviors. These deeply ingrained tendencies can obstruct our spiritual awakening, limiting our ability to fully experience peace, joy, and freedom. This group workshop is designed to help us recognize, understand, and release these patterns, allowing us to move beyond their influence. Some consider our group as an 'emotional sobriety' workshop with an eastern spirituality twist.

The group is facilitated by Tom Fuhrmann, a long time proponent of using eastern thought and spirituality as a foundation to discussing and solving traditional 'western problems'. The group uses real world examples from its participants to map out the sources of negative reactions embedded in our consciousness. This is an 'all participate' group as members are invited to offer their insights and opinions as we map out the root source of our fears and negative reactions to certain events.

The workshop starts at 8pm in the Library of the Miracle Center. We offer an optional 'Mantra & Meditation' session in the main hall which begins at 7pm. The 7pm meditation consists of 20 minutes of chanting sanskrit mantra, followed by 20 minutes of silent meditation. All are welcome to attend both or either. by donation.
