Youth Infrastructure Fair

NSBE Portland is excited to announce their 3rd Annual Youth Infrastructure Fair, returning on Thursday, February 26, 2026 (3:30–6:30 PM) at McDaniel High School. BiT PDX is joining NSBE and Project Ledo to cohost a lego robotics booth.

Celebrating National Engineers Week and Black History Month, this hands-on event introduces youth ages 5–17 to the careers that keep our cities running (water, transportation, energy, and more) through interactive tables led by industry professionals. We promise to have delicious dinner, great prizes, and educational fun for the entire family.

This year we are offering the event during the week to support student attendance, pathway-to-industry workshops with local universities, and expanded resources for students and families beyond the fair format. High school students can receive vouchers for PSU/OSU application fees waived and apply for $500 scholarships - attend the fair to find out more!
