Tier 3.0 Trial overnight camping on island - Test your gear and start the season

Details
You've been wanting to kayak camp for a while but arent sure if you are ready? This is the perfect way of finding out and starting the camping season.
Easy, low pressure camping outing that is great for meeting people and getting more confident in your ability to carry all you need to camp in your kayak.
The plan: Take Monday off (or call in sick) . We gather at Chinook landing at 5pm on Sunday evening, loading our camping gear into kayaks and paddling about 2.5 miles to the island we just discovered the other week. The paddle is pretty easy. But if it's choppy we might get sprayed on/expect to get wet.
There we are setting camp, having dinner, sitting around chatting, maybe having a dance party, maybe swim, maybe having a fire... doing whatever we feel like.
Monday morning we leisurly have coffee and breakfast, sit around and enjoying the views, meditate or do yoga or go for a swim.
Then leisurly pack up and go paddle back.
Meeting spot:
Park right after paymet machine at Chinook Landing. We'll be gathering on the lawn immediately to the right. And we'll launch off the beach behind the tree line.
Put in these coordinates into Google Maps to find the meeting spot exactly:
45.5615, -122.43914
Toilet situation: This is not an official campsite and there are no toilets. You pee anywhere, for pooping you dig a 6+" hole in the woods and fill it back up once you are done.
Parking: It costs $5 a day, so $10 total to park.
Annual pass for $30 is an option. I am planning on launching from here more this season. I've got myself one.
Park immediately after the pay booth. Don't go to the docks. We are launching off the beach near the entrance.
What to pack:
- Kayak and acessories (kayak, skeg, seats, pump, paddles, PFD)
