Tier3: Camping and Kayaking at Crescent Lake, Central Oregon with RJ

Tucked away in the heart of the Deschutes National Forest, Crescent Lake is a high-elevation alpine paradise that offers the perfect blend of serenity and adventure. Imagine waking up to crisp mountain air, sunlight dancing across crystal-clear turquoise waters, and towering evergreens swaying in the breeze. This is the kind of place that makes you forget your phone exists. Spend the day kayaking through glassy waters and peaceful coves, and even add a hike weaving through old-growth forest and up scenic ridgelines with panoramic views of the Cascades.

I have one campsite available the weekend of July 25th to July 27 at the Spring Campground by the lake, with maximum occupancy of 6 people. Note: The drive to Crescent Lake from Portland is approximately 3.5 hours. It's preferred that if you intend to go, you're able to leave early enough on Friday as not to arrive too late at night.
We'll arrive Friday, set up camp and settle in, Saturday, after breakfast, we'll paddle out to explore this beautiful lake. With the whole day ahead of us, swimming, fishing, and hiking are options as well. Sunday, check out is 12noon, with time to paddle the lake more if we choose before packing up to head home.
