Time to explore a new spot: Diamond Lake! Meandering along most of the east shore of the mile-high Diamond Lake, this large campground boasts spectacular views of both Mount Bailey & Mount Thielsen with abundant recreational opportunities. Access to Diamond Lake is within walking distance, & boat ramps and fish cleaning stations are accessible to visitors. The campground has a private beach with water slide, water mat, and other water activities. A nearby resort offers bicycle, boat & horse rentals as well as lodging, restaurants, grocery store, laundry facilities & fuel. Bring mosquito repellent!
*Note there may not be cell service at the campground, pets are allowed at all sites on leash (lmk if bringing a dog), &, one participant may bring his 12 year old son.

Directions: Take US-58 out of Eugene to US-97 south then turn right on OR-138. Follow OR-138 west approximately 22 ½ miles to Forest Road 4795/Diamond Lake Loop. Turn left onto FR 4795 and proceed 2.5 miles to the campground entrance on the right.

This is a HUGE campground. I have booked 5 large sites for *Thurs, Fri, & Sat*. Extra tents are allowed on tent pads, so sharing fits more people - please be flexible. I spoke with ranger & he says must stay on footprint, but can have as many tents as will fit (standard site fits ~5 small 1man tents). I think 2 small tents should be fine on regular site and 4 tents in larger double site. If you prefer to book your own site, please go online to do so & let me know. Let me know, if 1. you are sharing your tent with someone / 2. you have a huge tent / 3. only able to come part of time.
