Tier 2: Willamette River Paddle with Shuttle
Details
** NOTE: we have reached capacity for this paddle. **
🚣♀️ Willamette River Paddle – 10 Miles of FUN 🎉
This one’s been on my list for years & we’re finally doing it! 🙌
Even better… we’re celebrating a friends birthday.. the best way possible: out on the water 💙
We’re taking on a gorgeous 10-mile downstream paddle on the Willamette River—starting at Boones Ferry Marina and cruising all the way to Willamette Park in West Linn (where we left cars).
✨ Highlights:
• Passing the confluence with the Molalla River
• Lunch + chill time at Hebb Park
• The Narrows = playful current, eddies, and just enough spice to keep it FUN
Flows are in a sweet spot right now, so expect a Class II, engaging but manageable ride. This is one of the BEST stretches of the Willamette—and early season means fewer boats 🙌
⚠️ This is a Tier 2 paddle
You should be comfortable in current + basic maneuvering
🕘 Plan:
Meet: 9:30 AM @ Willamette Park (West Linn) – we’ll shuttle
Launch: 10:30 AM @ Boones Ferry Marina
⏱️ 3–4 hours on the water
🚗 Shuttle Note (Important):
Space is limited to 12 paddlers due to shuttle logistics.
👉 If you bring a shuttle buddy (extra driver/vehicle), we may be able to open a few more spots!
🎒 Bring your essentials:
PFD (required), layers for ~55° water, sun protection
💧 Plenty of water + lunch/snacks for our stop at Hebb Park (Expect wet/cold feet if you’re not in a drysuit 👣❄️)
🍻 After Party!
We’ll celebrate at Willamette Garage Food Carts (West Linn)—food, drinks, birthday vibes
Come for the paddle, stay for the celebration. This is going to be SUCH a good day 💫
