Circumnavigate Hog Island from George Rogers Park
Details
Let's enjoy the current perfect kayaking weather with a paddle on the Willamette. We will gather around 2:00 PM in the oval-shaped grassy area (Oswego Landing) next to the parking lot of George Rogers Park, inflate the kayaks, and hopefully hit the water by 2:30. We will go upstream and circle Hog Island, the site of several of the group's summer picnics. Depending on time we might continue upstream until we have paddled for an hour, then turn around and go back. We should be out of the water by 4:30, and all packed up just in time for rush hour.

All collected funds will be used for the annual Meetup fee and for purchases of loaner equipment. A quick reminder that Meet-up leaders are unpaid volunteers and claim no special expertise or knowledge. We will paddle as a group but ultimately you are responsible for your own experience, safety and decision-making.
