REGISTRATION: Four weeks prior to event.

DESCRIPTION: This moderate 3-5 mile walk traverses four NW Portland neighborhoods (Pearl District, Northwest District, Nob Hill, Slabtown), three gorgeous parks (The Fields, Tanner Springs, Couch), an optional 2-mile extension into the Willamette Heights neighborhood (one steep hill climb and descent), and then at a slower pace (for gawking), strolls iconic NW 21st and NW 23rd streets. FITNESS LEVEL: Expect a moderate 2-mile-an-hour (30-minute mile) pace for this mostly flat walk with one fairly steep incline and corresponding decline. Portland sidewalks are notoriously uneven and in need of repair in places. Please exercise caution while touring.

GUESTS: Yes, of course, you may bring a guest. However, all participants must be registered. (Exception for children under 18. However, not all walks are suitable for youngsters. Check with me.)
