One of our young members suggested doing a PDXBC breakfast for dinner plus a show, and we finally have a good one.

Instead of our usual day and time we'll be doing a breakfast for dinner at 7pm Saturday at one of our old haunts: My Father's Place.

We'll hang there for around 2 hours, then, optionally, some of us will walk a block north to the amazing Coffin Club. (Please note: The Coffin Club is not wheelchair accessible and the show will be down, then up, a couple flights of stairs.)

Tickets for the optional show are less than $15, and if you want to join us for a spooky, rockin', Monster-Bashing good time, be sure to buy an advance ticket now at:

Headlining the show will be Girl Drink Drunks, a local happy/silly/goofy punk rock band. Prior to them will be Guerrilla Teens, an excellent local band that plays original and very catchy regular ol' rock & roll songs, and starting the show for us will be Dr. Farfisanstein playing cheesy electronic organ ditties. There's an Italian "technical death metal" band opening the show, but we're gonna skip them cuz they sound particularly awful.

Here's a couple samples:

Guerrilla Teens: https://guerrillateens.bandcamp.com/album/monkeys-paw
Can't find anything for Dr. Farfisanstein, but you can't go wrong with 1960s-ish cheesy organ music

Of course, you're not required to stay for the whole show, it will run till around midnight. But just having a look around inside the massive and uniquely decorated Coffin Club -- plus taking a gander at some of the absolutely stunningly dressed local goth patrons -- is more than worth the price of admission that night. If you're coming, you may want to wear all black to blend in with the locals.

We'll have 12 spots for sure at My Father's Place, but any and all waitlisters are welcome to come as well, you'll just have to try to find a booth nearby.
