Our Old Haunt

Been a looong while since our group met at Cadillac Cafe, so let's give it a revisit.

One of my favorites here is the (sorta) new offering of Catfish & Eggs, featuring a nice fillet covered in crunchy New Orleans style breading served on a bed of collared greens with bits of bacon, plus eggs to your liking with grits and toast (I prefer subbing the grits for their superb Cadillac potatoes and the toast for a big and excellent biscuit). It's a little more expensive than the usual $20 omelettes, but it revs my engine and I think it's worth every extra penny (even though there's no such things as pennies anymore).

If a nice breakfast fish isn't your thing, there's LOTS of other great options to please everyone. Portions are big and separate checks there is not a prob.

So hit the gas Friday morning and we'll all pile in.
