Join us for a local Campbell potluck on Sat 5/23 in the afternoon and early evening! Welcome to bring something to eat or drink, and welcome to invite friends.

Join us for a 1.5-hr out-and-back walk at Shoreline Park in Mountain View, meeting in front of the boathouse. We’ll be walking north along the Bay Trail. Please bring water and sunscreen/hat as needed.

August is International Peace Month, with August 6 being the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Ceremony held in Japan to pray for peace and victims of the atomic bombing. Our group is hosting a book club potluck at Orchard City Green in downtown Campbell to discuss the book “The Future is Peace” by Arab-Palestinian peace builder Aziz Abu Sarah and Jewish-Israeli peace builder Maoz Inon. This book gives a unique look at special locations in the Holy Land and the various stories and narratives associated with this region. Both men have endured significant tragedy as a result of ongoing wars in the region, but have banded together as brothers in pursuit of peace for their homeland. This event is posted early for people to have time to read the book, and discussion questions will be prepared for our event. Welcome to bring a simple snack or drink for the potluck as well.
