The ancient temperate rainforests of the Pacific Northwest are crucial to the survival of a healthy biosphere and have been covertly targeted during the Pandemic.

They play essential roles in wildlife habitat, species diversity, hydrological regimes, nutrient cycles, carbon storage and many other ecological processes which would be irrevocably altered if we do not protect these ancient strongholds of life and information immediately.

Old growth is rare and becoming rarer every day due to timber harvesting that prioritizes profits over people and providence, and is literally seeing defenders of the land injured, maimed and killed along with the diverse ecosystem this ancient environment supports.

Warriors have been protecting these lands for the last year at personal cost to themselves, for the sake of the future generations they are acting on behalf of as we are all being called to do now.
