Peaceful Valley

Join us for an interfaith walk in downtown Campbell, meeting at Orchard City Green between the City Hall and Library, and walking towards Campbell Park and Los Gatos Creek Trail. People of all faith backgrounds or other beliefs are welcome to engage in respectful discussion and community. We’ll walk about 40min out and 40min back.

August is International Peace Month, and our group is hosting a book club at Orchard City Green in downtown Campbell to discuss the book “The Future is Peace” by peacebuilders Aziz Abu Sarah and Maoz Inon. This book gives a unique look at special locations in the Holy Land and the various stories and narratives associated with this region. Both men have endured significant tragedy as a result of ongoing wars in the region, but have banded together as brothers in pursuit of peace for their homeland. This event is posted early for people to have time to read the book, and discussion questions will be prepared for our event.
