RESCHEDULED: Winter Wonder Land in the New Year - ReGIFT Party

DUE TO TORNADO WARNINGS ON 01/11/20, BUNKO WAS RESCHEDULED TO THE FOLLOWING SATURDAY (THIS DATE THE 18TH)
We will do a winter wonDerland theme (wear white and/or silver) and instead of secret santa before Christmas or Hannuka, we will do a gift exchange of 'RE-Gifts' of gifts you received that may not be your cup of tea so to speak. Or if you loved all your gifts, just buy something on post christmas blow out sales. To keep it fair with the other givers and receivers, lets keep the value in the $20 range.

Here are the basics to make the event a great success:

1. Bring $11 > $1 for the meetup app fees, $10 for the winner prizes

2. Bring an appetizer or dish to share (salads and low carb/sugar dishes are appreciated)--- Got those New Year Resolutions now to deal with. But keep in mind this is dinner for most folks.

3. Host will have non-alcoholic drinks, and a signature drink with alcohol. Bring beer and wine or other drink in case you want to switch off the punch or may want to drink more. (There is a reason that Bunko has a nickname of 'Drunko")

4. Strive to arrive within a half hour of the start time so we have time to socialize with you before game play starts.

5. If you RSVP, plan on attending. If your plans change, even if you are on the waitlist, you must go and cancel your RSVP and change to a no. Most Often, the hosts will try to adjust the number of seats to accommodate all the people who have RSVPd. The final decision to do this isn't made until 2 days before because it involves the movement of furniture, the acquisition of more tables and chairs, and we look to see what changes there are. AND as has been the case in the past, Waitlist people move up to Attending, but aren't checking and will NO SHOW and guess what.. we end up not needing an extra table and all that effort was wasted. AND we wait longer than usual to start because we expect those that are "ATTENDING" to actual attend.

NO SHOW POLICY IS IN EFFECT IN 2019. CHECK 'ABOUT' SECTION ON GROUP FOR DETAILS IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH THAT POLICY.

We have a lot of fun and a lot of laughs. Coming in theme really helps for everyone to get in the groove.
