South West Coast Path Long May Bank Holiday Weekend

How about an amazing beach side spring break in Cornwall with up to FIVE days walking and activities and FOUR nights accommodation for an amazing price of just £124. for FOUR NIGHTS OVER A BANK HOLIDAY, outrageous!

You can use your stay to walk the South West Coast Path with the group, to tackle a range of local walks straight from the hostel or to chill and enjoy the beach activities in the area. There is also of course the chance to visit the iconic EDEN PROJECT that is just 14 miles away. NOT TO BE MISSED

The South West Coast Path is 300 miles of amazing. Great walks, stunning scenery, wonderful beaches and some atmospheric pubs and bars as well. We will manage all of those and more at this wonderful location. Picture is of Hemmick Beach near to our accommodation. For those who want to walk every day (and it is entirely optional) we can get virtually from Falmouth to Plymouth -incredible.

This of course includes all of the accommodation and food although on the Thursday arrival night we are not catering and expect participants to eat out at a local pub or restaurant at attendees own expense or self cater at the hostel.

Revised arrangements for the weekend mean that you can choose whether to arrive Thursday or Friday with all nights up to Bank Holiday Monday departure now included without additional cost. It's a bargain.

Breakfast, lunch packups and dinner (x 3) are included with dinner on Thursday night being at attendees own expense at a local hostelry or from fish and chip takeaway or by self catering.

We have no staff as such so help is needed with preparation and clearing up on a voluntary basis. We do cater for most dietary requirements and preferences but please ask if unsure. We don't normally provide biscuits, cakes or desserts so if you want to bring some of these to share that would be lovely.

Accommodation is single sex bunk rooms of a variety of sizes with full bedding provided but not towels.

The cost should now be paid in full at £124.00 payable when you book to which must be added Meetup booking fees when you book via the Meetup app. You can also pay via BACS without Meetup booking fees. You can also split the cost by paying £62.00 when you book and a further £62.00 on the 1st April 2025. If paying via BACS please let us know you have booked and we will then add you to the event manually.

Those who initially paid a deposit now owe a balance of £89 which is now overdue.

If you have to cancel with more than 28 clear days notice your full balance payment will be refunded less a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of the original non-refundable deposit. No refunds will be provided to those cancelling with less than 28 clear days notice. ("clear" means does not include event start date or cancellation date!

It would not be possible to provide the range of events we do or to cover the cost of insurance and now increasing Meetup fees if we were not a subscription based group which means paying an annual subscription of £10pa or a Life Membership subscription in which case further payments are not necessary.

If attending our weekends away as an unpaid or lapsed subscriber or as a non member guest you are required to pay an additional £10 when balances become due. This applies to all events starting on or after 1st January 2025
