Diet and Disease: is the newest medicine the oldest medicine?

Details
Thanks to everyone involved in the last Brain Biohacking meetup, including the amazing speakers and awesome group of attendees. It was great to see people so genuinely interested in the subject matter, asking great engaging questions, and all of us learning from each other.
Let's continue the trend Wednesday December 12, and explore the nexus of food and disease (one of my favorite personal subjects). Increasingly mainstream science is embracing use of functional foods and dietary protocols to reduce risk of disease and as treatments for them. These include Ketogentic diets for cancer, the Bredesen Protocol for Alzheimers, Valter Longo intermittent fasting diet for longevity, and many others.
I'm looking for 4-5 people with biohacking experience and knowledge around the topics below (or others if pertinent). What did you do, how did you do it, and what did you learn?
Caloric Restriction
Intermittent Fasting
Ketogenic Diets
Paleo/Mediterranean/Caveman Diets
Ayurvedic Medicine
Chinese Medicine
Gut Biome Tinkering/Knowledge
Please contact me directly with any topics you'd like to discuss.
Thanks everyone!
