About us
Welcome to Pencil Pushers United! We're a group for anyone who loves sketching, whether you've been drawing your whole life or you just picked up a pencil last week. This is a casual space where we can share our work, talk about techniques, and support each other's artistic journey. We believe sketching is for everyone—there's no right or wrong way to do it, and we're here to prove that you don't need to be a "natural" to enjoy putting pencil to paper and making something meaningful.
Our gatherings are pretty relaxed. We get together to sketch, share what we're working on, and swap tips about everything from shading techniques to finding inspiration when you're stuck. Some of us sketch portraits, some do landscapes, others are into comics or abstract work. We'll talk about artists we admire, recommend sketchbooks and supplies, and just enjoy the process together. It's less about producing gallery-worthy pieces and more about the joy of the act itself.
If you're curious about sketching or already devoted to it, come hang out with us. You'll find a welcoming group of people who genuinely love this stuff and are excited to meet others who do too. Just bring yourself and whatever supplies you're comfortable with—we're all about making this inclusive and fun.
