What we’re about
When's the last time you got together with a bunch of people with ADHD to have some fun and connection? This group welcomes you exactly as wonderful person you are. No need to mask or apologize for your ADHD. The research is clear that connection, physical activity, and nature contribute to our overall well-being as ADHDers, so why not combine them?
The goal of this group is to build a thriving in-person community where we can connect authentically, build new relationships, get active, and get outside.
As the community evolves, people can take the opportunity to share their interests. For now, leave all the planning up to me. All you have to do is show up and enjoy!
Some of the events we have in store:
Hiking and nature-based games and creative activities
Bike rides
Learn to kayak or paddleboard (paid)
Yoga in the forest (donations suggested)
Lawn games
And whatever else evolves...please feel free to make suggestions and share ideas. It's everyone's community.
We'll keep the agreements simple:
- Keep it positive and respectful. Focus on strengths and common ground.
- Create a welcoming environment. Refrain from any hate/disrespect toward any individuals or groups. Respect people's boundaries.
- Be your best self. Lift others up, don't put them down. Treat others how you'd want to be treated.
- Be present. Avoid or limit technology.
- Be responsible. You and only you are liable for any outcomes resulting in your actions (requisite legalese).
