What we’re about
We are a group of ladies all living in the Peninsula and ranging in age (30's to 40's). Our meet-up group and organizers aim to create and host a wide variety of activities that allows women in the area to meet, have fun, and create new friendships. We host a minimum of one event per month. We get together for: dinner, happy hours, potluck dinners at someone's house followed by a movie, comedy club, show, or event, watch a movie at the theater, an outdoor BBQ or picnic, game nights, concerts and live music, group crafting circles, pool parties, Pinterest parties, holiday parties, wine-tasting parties, or just doing something new and explorative like take a class together, hit up a local street fair/festival, or go for a hike. This will hopefully give you an idea of what kinds of activities you'll be invited to if you join "Peninsula Girls Having Fun!"
If you like the sounds of these types of meetups, you look to make some new friends who live in the Peninsula, and you live somewhere between Daly City and Mountain View, then join us if you are serious about getting together and making new girlfriends along the way.
If you live outside those parameters, please consider whether you truly have the time and intention to attend the events regularly from such a distance before you join. Most of our events do take place in or around San Mateo.
Important! Please read:
Be respectful of others' time and effort in setting up events. If you RSVP "yes", you should make your best effort to show up to the event. Please update your RSVP 2 days before the event if you know you cannot attend. Organizers need this info to plan great events! 'No-shows' may result in your removal from the group. To join, you MUST have a picture of yourself and answer the basic profile questions so organizers and members get to know who you are. For peace of mind, only our group members can see our photos. If you don't have one, you will not be approved. If all this sounds good to you, join the group and become an active member to get involved and make some new local girlfriends!
