For our first meeting, to get into the spring fever we’ll be writing a “Scene in bloom”! Focus on one specific setting—like a single tree branch or flowerbed and describe it in HIGH detail. Capture the “unfurling” of the season!!!

Our muse this week is Tolkien and his love of trees! Read a few excerpts and write a short story 250 words or less or a free verse poem! See how vivid you can get! We will share and discuss together. Cheers and happy writing!
