POCSHN Land Work Day: Berkeley Basket
Details
“For a colonized people the most essential value, because the most concrete, is first and foremost the land: the land which will bring them bread and, above all, dignity."
-- Frantz Fanon, from "The Wretched of the Earth"
A sustainable community includes more than just housing, where and how we grow our food is just as key to the vision. POCSHN is excited to support BIPOC Land Projects of all types!
Join us at our upcoming Land Work Day at Berkeley Basket, a QTBIPOC-led food project, on Friday, October 31st from 11:30 - 3:30pm. You can stay for as little or as long as you'd like! We'll be learning from and supporting the wonderful farmers of Berkeley Basket CSA as they close out their growing season.
Lunch will be provided. Limited spots available.
