HAPPY HOUR Richmond BIPOC Co-Housing / Co-living

The People of Color Sustainable Housing Network (POCSHN) is hosting a community Happy Hour
during EBHO’s Affordable Housing Month, designed to bring together Black, Indigenous, and People of Color
(BIPOC) organizers, residents, and visionaries interested in cooperative housing, communal living, and land
stewardship projects. This informal mixer will create space for relationship‐building, storytelling, and peer
learning among participants exploring collective ownership and sustainable housing models. Through
conversation, resource‐sharing, and community connection, the event will strengthen the regional
ecosystem of BIPOC‐led housing and land initiatives, advancing shared goals for housing equity and
self‐determination in the East Bay. It will be a kick-off for our outreach for the POCSHN BIPOC land
dreamers fellowship.
