Session #1 -- Python 101
Introduction to the basics of programming Python. Data types, Loops (For and While), If Then Else conditional statements. Topics include data Types, variables, scope, and file I/O, sets, arrays, and tuples.
This is an introductory course for Data Science and will involve the use of Python.

Instructor, Alan Levin
Hi, I’m Alan Levin. I am the Director of Development here at The Devmasters. I am also involved with curriculum and instruction for Einstein Assembly. I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Applied Mathematics including Statistics. I’ve been with Arshad and The Devmasters for about 3 years. I have over 20 years’ experience programming Microsoft applications includins ASP.NET C#, MS SQL, and Python. My Math and programming background has made me a natural fit for Python with Data Science. I live in nearby Laguna Niguel. My fun factor is playing Guitar, Electric Bass, and Keyboards in local bands.
