Perth Coffee & Conversation - Wednesdays @ Coutts Cafe

You are invited into dialogue with Amie Shepherdson, our local organizer, and all who attend to discuss different topics each week while exploring some deeper questions along the way.

Come on out for a new topic each week. Meet Amie, smile, laugh, chat, and enjoy the ambiance of this warm coffee shop together. This week's topic is: Pi Day.

Here are the questions we will be discussing:

• What is your favorite holiday pie? Have you celebrated Pi day?
• What are some odd holidays that you've heard of or participated in? (Some examples: Mari Lwyd, Unbirthdays, Blue Christmas, Day of the Dead).
• What kinds of holiday traditions are coming up for you and your family?
• How have those traditions evolved in your life?
• How does your personality effect your experience of celebrations?
• Are you more of an introvert or an extrovert in social gatherings?
• How have you navigated holiday stress and preparations?
• What kinds of strategies have you come up for complicated family dynamics and conflicting priorities around the holidays? Has that evolved for you over the years?
• In what ways have you given yourself room to breathe during the holidays?

Join us in this safe, inclusive, casual, and accepting environment where dialogue is encouraged over debate as each person has opportunity to share from their own diverse perspectives and experiences.

Folks in this group enjoy going beyond small talk, reflecting both inward and outward, helping build pathways for more peace and understanding in the world... and your voice matters!

No particular set of beliefs (or creed) is required to be a part of this community-building activity. Diverse perspectives are welcome.

Whether to discover yourself amidst a community on a common journey or to find meaning among new friends, there is room at the table for you.
