NYE - Watch a movie at Raine Square then catch the Fireworks in Yagan Square

Hello,
I'll be having a very low-key NYE this year. I'm not into heavy drinking or noisy nightclubs.
Instead I'm proposing to catch a movie at Palace Raine Square The Housemaid is on, an adaption of a very famous book, starring Sydney Sweeny and Amanda Seyfried , then stop by Yagan Square towards the end of the night to catch the fireworks. We will be attending the 8.30 pm session, in the standard cinema.

The movie finishes at 11 pm - so we will drop in towards the end of the Yagan Square festivities, there's a confetti drop you can submit your wishes in advance, and hopefully find a good spot to view the fireworks display.
