What we’re about
This group is for anyone that wants to get to grips with the Microsoft Power BI ecosystem and modern versions of Excel. This involves Power BI Desktop, the Power BI cloud service and Power Query, Power Pivot for Excel. Whether you are a BI professional, Excel professional or a business analyst who wants to make better use of their data, this group is the place to learn about the rapidly-evolving capabilities of the Microsoft data platform in the age of data and the era of self-service business intelligence.
Our sessions focus on all the great features available in Power BI and Excel that help you to gain a better understanding of your data. Our sessions are filled to the brim with real-world demonstrations on the ways these tools can enhance your data analysis – all while saving you time, effort and heart-ache.
We are a proud member of the global Microsoft Power BI User Group (PUG) initiative. Microsoft recognises the benefit of a healthy and involved community helping to share knowledge and shape development of Power BI to ensure it becomes a successful tool that we are all excited to use.
We are also a chapter of the worldwide Modern Excel User Group (MEUG).
