# Teenage Yoga

Classes are open to boys and girls aged 15-17 years and are specifically designed for teenagers in this age range, helping your child to maximise the benefits of yoga. Plus, classes are a fantastic complementary practice for students already doing a lot of sport.

Yoga is well-known for its many benefits - both physical and mental - and provides a valuable tool for teenagers as they move towards adulthood.
These benefits include:

  • Reducing stress and anxiety through relaxation and meditation
  • Improved energy levels
  • Increased strength and flexibility
  • Reduced aches and pains such as back pain and neck tension
  • Improved overall sense of wellbeing
  • Injury prevention, which is ideal for teenage athletes
  • Improved immune system, meaning teenagers are less likely to get sick in these important years of school.

Classes in Term 2 2023 will run from 4:30pm-5:30pm on Tuesdays in the Studio. The cost for the 9-week term is $180, with bookings essential.

+ Lunge Yoga can also set up classes at your home or at school, meaning added convenience for you and busy teenagers.
