Community Wing Chun Class
Welcome to our community Wing Chun class, where members can explore this authentic, elegant, and effective martial art.
Each session includes solo set practices and partner combat drills. No worries if you're a beginner—personalized attention will be provided to match your level, ability, and learning needs.
You'll enjoy the flexibility and confidence to progress at your own pace. Classes are typically 2 hours long.
What You Will Learn in Your First Four Lessons
Week 1 – Lesson 1:
- Basic stances and footwork
- Introduction to Siu Nim Tau (小念頭) etiquette
- Drills: Bong Sau (膀手) and Tan Sau (攤手)
- Two basic self-defense techniques
Week 2 – Lesson 2:
- Internal energy training
- First three movements of Siu Nim Tau
- Drill: Forward Cutting Palm (切掌)
- Two additional self-defense techniques
Week 3 – Lesson 3:
- Stamina and flexibility training
- Movements 4 to 6 of Siu Nim Tau
- Drill: Circular Cutting Palm (圈切掌)
- Two more self-defense techniques
Week 4 – Lesson 4:
- Meditation training
- Movements 7 to 9 of Siu Nim Tau
- Drill: Horizontal Grabbing Hand (執手)
- Optional drill: Whipping Fist (鞭拳)
- Additional self-defense techniques
Fees: $180 per session or $600 per month.

About Sifu Joseph Lau:
Sifu Joseph Lau is the sixth-generation successor of the Pao Fa Lien Wing Chun school. With over thirty years of martial arts experience—including training in Southern Shaolin, Tai Chi, Baguazhang, and Qi Gong—he brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to his teaching.
