Dianic Witchcraft Study Group and Women’s Ritual Circle

Hello! I am Julia and I am a feminist witch, mystic, Dianic initiate and student of Dianic Witchcraft. Our tradition is a form of spiritual feminism rather than freemasonry. To that end, Dianic Witchcraft celebrates embodied female mysteries that unequivocally center women and our children. The experiences on this magical path are potentially revolutionary and include an awareness unapologetically free of the definitions and constraints of the masculinist narrative, affirming our sacred bodies, our wholeness and our sovereignty.

This is an independent friendship circle of women who wish to study and practice together, and there are no fees for membership in the local group. I can also point you in the direction of more formal training opportunities at Temple of Diana if you wish including the traditional year and a day. For these formal trainings there are sliding scale fees. Be sure to read each class description for registration and fee information. Thank you! I look forward to circling together!!!

Live Maidenfire Ritual - Philadelphia, Saturday May 9, 2026, 2 PM

Location not specified yet

Join us live in Philadelphia for the Dianic Wiccan celebration of Maidenfire on Sunday, May 11, 2026, 2-4-PM. There is no cost for participation. Location will be given once you confirm. This event is a female-only friendship gathering for seasonal sacred ritual.

Within the Dianic Women's Wheel of the Year, Maidenfire, or Beltane as the holy day is know in the wider Neo-Pagan community, marks the flowering of the Spring Maiden as she experiences her first menstrual bloods, the blossoming of fertility and sexuality, and is initiated into the Mysteries of Womanhood. The Maiden is awakened to her passions and creativity and more consciously begins her journey to experiencing the full range of her Sacred Self and all of her potential.

Note that traditionally in Neo-Paganism, the fertility of the Goddess at this time of year is celebrated in reference to a male consort. In the Dianic Wiccan Tradition, the Blossoming One is celebrated as the Virgin, as One-Within-Herself, only becoming Mother as She transforms in the Summer. In Maytime, we honor the Goddess as independent, wild, unconquerable, sovereign and by extension, not psychically colonized and dominated by patriarchy and the male gaze. No matter our age as adult females, this wild and free Maiden lives on within us, inspiring new learning, passions experiences and joy. She is celebrated at Maidenfire. Join us and welcome Her return & wear red if you like!!! Blessed be!!!
