The name "Chabaa" refers to the delicate hibiscus flower, and the restaurant’s serene, fabric-draped interior is designed to be a "nurturing haven." We’ll gather at Chabaa Thai Bistro to dive into their menu of traditional and playful seasonal specials. We’ll start by sharing a variety of appetizers—like their famous grilled chicken satay and crispy spring rolls—before moving on to individual entrees. - BYOB: Chabaa Thai Bistro is one of the premier BYOBs on Main Street! Feel free to bring a bottle of Riesling, a crisp Singha beer, or your favorite wine to complement the aromatic Thai spices.
- Cost: We will order shared appetizers for the table, with everyone ordering their own entree. Please anticipate the total cost to be approximately $45–$55 per person (including tax and a 20% tip). To make bill-splitting easier, please bring cash.
- Allergies: This restaurant is very accommodating to dietary needs (including gluten-free options!). If you have any restrictions, please let me know when you RSVP.
- Important: I will send a confirmation message a day or two before our visit to finalize the headcount. If your plans change, please update your RSVP to "Not Going" promptly so those on the waitlist can join.
- Parking: The restaurant is located at 4343 Main Street, Philadelphia, PA 19127. There is a paid parking lot directly across the street and another a block away, though street parking can be found if you arrive early.

Greatest Hits: World Food Tour: Paesan's for Friday Night Tasting (Italian)
Paesano's, 943 S 9th St,, Philadelphia, PA, USOne of the best dinners we have had.
Paesano's is known as one of the best sandwich shops in Philly. But what you probably did not know is that on Friday nights they have 4-Course Tasting Selection (Family Style) and I just booked it. The menu changes weekly.
This restaurant is BYOB so you are encouraged to bring a bottle of wine. There is a prefix family-style dinner for $75/pp. After the gratuity of 20% it should be $90/pp. Bring cash $$$. The bill will be split evenly. Let me know if you have any dietary restrictions.
You will have to find street parking or take public transportation. Carpooling is encouraged.
I will confirm that you will be attending a day or two before the event so that I can adjust the reservation if needed. If you can't attend, kindly change your RSVP to not going so that someone on the wait list can go or I can correct the reservation at least 24 hours prior.
